07.03.2025 EVERYTHING JUST ALIGNED, FROM THE SKIES, TO THE PEOPLE, TO THE VIBE!
What a time to be alive. I have lived, loved and experienced. And I am so grateful for it. Wherever I am headed, wherever I am, I know I would be doing something right because I get to experience art like that. Nothing makes me more happier. One of the things that I have been able to do for myself is experience more. And I am forever grateful to be able to feel that. (This is not what I wanted to write last night, when I came back from his show, but today all that leaves my heart is this. Only critique I have for myself is to learn the words like they are part of my breath, for every little magic that I get to witness. I am going to do that.) I am happy.Piyush Mishra Sir is an EXPERIENCE. He is a walking, talking piece of poetry. The way that man can articulate and project and be funny, but what caught my attention the most was the way his hands move while reciting and enunciating and existing. It's beautiful!!!! It's like they are alive by themselves, they speak a language if their own. He is beautiful. He is magical. And his band - Ballimaaraan (you gotta be there to know what I mean, they really weave magic with their instruments and it is breathtaking) was cherry on the cake. Without them the magic wouldn't have been possible.
Also, a very special mention to Sargam Ipsita, heard her for the first time and fell in love with who she is, a brave, a bold, a slaying Queen who sings like it's raindrops falling from the sky. Looking forward to really dive into her music.
If you are someone who enjoys life, the smallest things, the feels, the joys, the sadness, everything, who also enjoys art and spoken word (and even if you are not), please take the time to book tickets and go to "UdanKhatola" and experience not just the heart of Piyush Sir and magic of poetry but also the soul of his entire band and see them weave magic in the air! You won't regret it, I promise. This is one of those - you must experience before you die kind of thing!
Signing off with a full heart,
a very grateful and happy moi <3
